Missouri's revenge porn law was passed in 2019 and became effective on August 28, 2019. The law makes it a felony to distribute intimate images of another person without their consent with the intent to harass, intimidate, threaten, or coerce. The penalty for violating this law is imprisonment for up to four years and/or a fine of up to $10,000. It is important to note that this law applies to both digital and physical images.
