Can You Handle The Quiet? (Corrupted Vlog?)
Sometimes putting together exciting vlogs to keep people's attention is just so hard. I'm not really a loud person so I thought I'd stitch together all these soft moments. Husband talks a bit in some of the parts but I find his voice soothing so it stays in.

Why Did I Start Running?
I was never athletic because I believed that I couldn't be. Which was wrong.
I've gotten older and realized I am an athletic person and I had missed out on so many opportunities as a girl only because people told me I was a girl, I wasn't strong enough, I was not made for it, I was born clumsy.
Sometimes my own fears would get in the way. The only one who ever encouraged me for the long term was my little brother.
Then he became injured and I happened to see a virtual 5k for brain injury on my advertisement page on FB. That was about a year or so ago.
Anyway, I signed up against my better judgment. I ended up at the track... dropped off by my hubby who thought I was crazy. So, there I was alone... fighting with my own demons walking for my brother when my heart broke thinking... he can't do this sort of thing anymore. What a blessing I have in my own body. I tried running for the first time and I was shocked that I couldn't even run a full minute. Later I was in so much pain I had to ice bath even though I didn't even run a lot.
I thought that I was done but like a light switch... I desired to run more. I bought an entire running outfit and started to train. I could not do the c25k program yet so I worked on my goal being able to run a minute and then more and more until I was running!
I joined more races and people saw how happy I was. Then my husband joined me and since the thing I've been working on my own personal running goals. When I'm sick because of PCOS or Hashimoto's and complications that go with those it helps me to know that I can be strong on the race track. I run with six different awareness ribbons. Is Grav3yardgirl "Bunny Meyer" A Reincarnation Of Sarah Winchester?
Previously, I had had a dream about the Buzzfeed Unsolved's hosts being reincarnations. If you've not seen that original video or blog post please go check that out and give it a thumbs up. I personally am very proud of that work and I find that I had a dream about it so strange.
This theory, however, was not a dream but rather a proclamation as I was watching Graveyard girl on Youtube. Once I said it out loud my husband agreed with me enthusiastically. "Oh yes!" he said. "I can see that!"
Before we delve further please kind in mind that this is just for entertainment and it not a factor meant to be harmful to anyone in any way.
Sarah Winchester is a well known historical eccentric and wealthy woman. You'd probably best know her by the famous crazy house she built with whimsical rooms and doors that go nowhere. You might even know that there is a mystery surrounding why she decided to build her home like this. I strongly suggest looking up some videos and material about her and the house. It is an amazing feat of creation and exploration of the human mind.
"Bunny Meyer" also known as Grav3yardgirl is a self-made Youtuber that is also eccentric and wealthy. You'll probably best know her for her "Does This Thing Really Work" style videos where she tries various TV products but she is also known for her fanatical collections and style.
Let us start drawing parallels between these two wonderful ladies. Their early lives are not well known as both have never deeply expanded upon them. They both came from families at were doing well for themselves. Sarah Lockwood Winchester was born September 5th, 1922 and "Bunny Meyer" was born August 3, 1985, so they both had late to early fall birthday's. Both ladies are petite, thin and shorter than the average. Each has a reputation as being beautiful with Sarah being called the "Belle of New Haven" and Bunny being heralded as a model and beauty guru. Both women fell in love with their partners having known them for years. Sarah reportedly knew her husband since childhood and Bunny knew her partner from at least high school.
In a sadder note, Sarah Winchester lost her only daughter in infancy and had no more children. Bunny has publicly declared that she has no desired to have children and does not want them but has never expanded upon the discussion. (Which more power to her! Women's reproductive choices are nobody's business but her own)
Both women ended up becoming wealthy on their own and in unique ways. Sarah had inherited her money after the tragic loss of her family. Her father in law had given her the Winchester Repeating Arms Company. The company that supplied on the West's most famous and popular gun. Bunny also had a tragedy where she lost her ability to sew in a terrible car crash and thus her dream of being a fashion designer. To cope she started making Youtube videos of various topics and growing a following.
It is assumed that both the tragedies helped form their eccentric behaviors and odd superstitions. Sarah Winchester was said to have built her house because she thought she was cursed and Bunny is said to collect so obsessively to save the past from dying or the memories being lost to time.
Sarah and Bunny Meyer are both avid and fervered believers in an afterlife and both of them pursued the idea by doing ghost hunts and other supernatural knowledge seeking. Bunny originally had made videos about her own paranormal experiences and trips to graveyards where she attempted to make friends with the possible ghosts that lived there. To this day she still attempts to explain her deep connections to the paranormal and her intuitive empath nature. Sarah Winchester built specific rooms inside her mansion dedicated to seances and attempts to connect with the dead. It is also reported that she had started building the wild mansion in the first place to confuse the spirits of those fallen by the Winchester rifle that had come to haunt her. Interestingly enough Bunny has also implied that she feels spirits come to seek her out to possibly connect with her and like Sarah Winchester has many rules to keep them away from her. One of which is not talking about the paranormal.
It's important to note here that like Sarah Winchester, Bunny often takes a special interest in setting up rooms in her house in a particular way or an in a very styled way. Bunny has been reported to say that she is building a Halloween vlog room, a 90's themed room and many other styles. She most often films in her "baby doll". Mrs. Winchester like Bunny took great interest in decoration or adornments of her house. Most noted in this fashion is her love of the stained glass windows sometimes made by the Tiffany Company who would make her custom pieces based on her current obsessions.
Obsessions, both women have them. Sarah, in particular, liked the number 13 and this theme is oft repeated in her home. Sarah preferred building in redwood but didn't like the look of it and covered it up and spider web motifs can be viewed to this day in the home. Bunny is similar in the fact she focuses on certain objects and styles such as particular patterns, themes, and style. The ladies have both been described as hoarders and fanatic collectors of objects and things. After Sarah had passed away it allegedly took six trucks working 8 hours a day for six weeks to remove all the furniture from the house. Bunny has alluded to her many storage units and bins filled with items and stuff that she would never part with.
Sarah was extremely private to the point that one photograph can be found of the interior of the house while she was alive. Bunny only recently started letting people see more of her home via vlog format where formerly she filmed in the exact same spot or outside or in her old "vlog car" to keep people from seeing her personal living space.
The details for both women are often murky. Some historians contest the evidence that Sarah built her house out of fear of the dead. There are other disputed 'fact's as well and they say that the marketing for the Sarah Winchester house obliterated who Sarah Winchester actually was! This is a curious case and at first seems very cut and dry. However, upon closer examination of the story and the little evidence we have, it seems to be a bit more complicated. It's possible that the investigation was slowed simply because many viewed Ashley as a rebellious teenager. The family believes that she had left willingly with a man. However, that is speculation. "Ashley ran away from home once before, in 2001, but she did not leave the state and was only gone for about a day before returning home voluntarily. She was an eighth-grader at Robidoux Middle School at the time of her disappearance."
It was July 6th of 2004 around noon. "Tammy Mack dropped her then 15-year-old daughter, Ashley Martinez, off at Krug Pool with her 13-year-old brother. When Ms. Mack returned for her children after a few hours, her son was waiting for her, but Ashley was nowhere to be found."
"After being dropped off that day, Ashley reportedly got into a car with convicted felon Christopher Hart, then 32, who reportedly promised to take her to California."
Christopher allegedly had lived close to Ashley's home. This is town gossip and if that statement is true or not remains unknown.

Interestingly enough, in the community article of 2018 the article contains a quote that claims the police have not called Hart a suspect at all in the case.
Ashley was reported to have smoked cigarettes, (Menthols) partied and partook of marijuana. It is possible Christopher Hart was a drug dealer. All of this information is hearsay and alleged.

Ashley was 5'3, 110 pounds with blue eyes. Her hair color is sandy blond and she is Caucasian. Birthday is January 24th, 1989. She does have a scar or scars on her left arm/wrist. Clothing worn that day was blue jean shorts, black top with red cherries and white Reebok tennis shoes with red accents shoe size 5. Ashley's tongue, naval and ears were pierced. and she had a ring with two hearts joined together. A black bikini with red cherries was worn underneath her clothing. Ashley was reported to have a bi-bipolar disorder and is supposed to have left her medications. She may have had an inhaler with her for her mild asthma attacks.

"Ashley’s little brother said she’d left the pool of her own free will and gotten into a car with a friend. Ashley’s mother says that friend was 32-year-old, Christopher Matthias Hart." Many news articles make it clear that the family is convinced Ashley's left with Christopher Hart that day. According to a blog site that was shared by Ashley's mother via social media there are few more key pieces of possible information. It was reported that Ashley hung around the pool for a couple of hours before being picked up. Ashley according to friends borrowed a friend's cell phone and called Hart.
"Before Hart supposedly left on July 6, he also stopped by an acquaintance's house, saying he had his car packed, and that he was going to pick up Ashley. It was also confirmed that Christopher Hart and Ashley had been "seeing" each other."

The reported car that she had left in is fairly unique as far as age and type the color is supposed to be grey. "Christopher Hart. He picked her up near the pool in his dad’s gray 1995 Pontiac Bonneville with Missouri license plate, 377MPY."
However, even after Christopher Hart was arrested this car has been nowhere to be found. I feel like finding this car could really be a big lead in this case.
"In September 2004, Hart was arrested in Olympia, Washington, and is awaiting extradition back to Missouri. Hart exhibited bizarre and unorthodox behavior while in jail. He has been sent to Western State Hospital for a mental evaluation, prior to his arraignment in court. Though it was thought he had convinced her to go to California it is important to note that he was arrested in Washington. Allegedly purse snatching on the street corners and living with a cousin.
In 2017 they thought they had a break in the case when a witness comes forward. It's important to note however the witness Julie Wahgren is allegedly the cousin of Christopher Hart and Miss Wahren is not highly regarded in the community. She has allegedly been involved with other cases where she may have lied. She's also been reported a local drug addict. However, all of the is ALLEGED and this info is not meant to harm or defame her in any way but to bring up all the possibilities of this case into question.
This prompted a full-scale investigation but not much news was released to the public or even to Ashley's mother. The police seemed to have looked for a body in a certain area but the conclusions came up cold.
"Investigators with the assistance of search experts from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children conducted a ground search of several properties utilizing specialized equipment and cadaver dogs,” Wilson said. “The search was of value to investigators, but at this time the case remains open with investigators continuing to conduct follow up related to the investigation.”

(Diary) W1D1 Bridge To 10k FAIL :(
So, I've had a few days off from my last race a 5k. I've completed c25k twice now but I'm slow. So, I thought I'd do this program. Before the 5k I injured my foot/ankle area. It was one of those injuries where I could not uncurl my toes my foot when a little numb and it hurt to walk on. It cleared up mostly for the race and I got through without much issue.(The race was hilly though not something I trained for very well) I've rested from that and just tried to do a slow easy run on the treadmill. 8 mins in though that foot/ankle started to hurt so I quit before much more pain. It's weird though... the pain is above the ankle and up the side of the shin. It does not feel like the shin splints I had when I started running a year ago.
I can't go to the sports clinic until next week. So, I'm depressed about not being able to run. I'm worried this is a serious injury. I need to find another exercise fast because I don't want to backslide on all my training :(
I have another 5k on the 20th. Thankfully, that one is very casual and not competitive but I'm still mad about it.
Adding into this terrible no good day; Gunter (my border collie) snatched my phone and threw it into his water bowl. I'm too darn poor to replace it so fingers crossed it's OK. My medication to treat my Atypical endometrial hyperplasia stopped yesterday and I've been feeling terrible with cramps today. My mood swings are all over the place and I'm crying at everything for no reason. Such as the SIMS 4 sale ... I've been desperate to get more expansion packs. However every single time they have a sale it is ALWAYS between paydays. I can never get them. :(
Update: I'm crying right now. Because my beautiful husband just called and told me to buy the SIMS pack that I wanted. He just used his haircut money to give me a gift.
I can't go to the sports clinic until next week. So, I'm depressed about not being able to run. I'm worried this is a serious injury. I need to find another exercise fast because I don't want to backslide on all my training :(
I have another 5k on the 20th. Thankfully, that one is very casual and not competitive but I'm still mad about it.
Adding into this terrible no good day; Gunter (my border collie) snatched my phone and threw it into his water bowl. I'm too darn poor to replace it so fingers crossed it's OK. My medication to treat my Atypical endometrial hyperplasia stopped yesterday and I've been feeling terrible with cramps today. My mood swings are all over the place and I'm crying at everything for no reason. Such as the SIMS 4 sale ... I've been desperate to get more expansion packs. However every single time they have a sale it is ALWAYS between paydays. I can never get them. :(
Update: I'm crying right now. Because my beautiful husband just called and told me to buy the SIMS pack that I wanted. He just used his haircut money to give me a gift.

Turning subtitles on for mobile is a little more difficult on a computer. I'm sorry for those that have not figured that out yet! I'm thinking of doing a video soon to show people how. That being said that I recap my video here! :) This is a box opening of a very special doll. It's a reborn doll. Reborns are handmade art dolls that take a lot of time and care. The dolls with hair are even more expensive as each strand is placed by hand! Pat was practicing her hair rooting skills and let me purchase one of her babies at a discount because of this. Wonderfully generous as I personally think it's all very good! Please be kind to her as she's afraid she'll be judged by the hair alone. Check out her shop to see some of her other work :)
I've named my doll Petra but I've still not chosen a middle name.

I hope you find my list helpful as you are browsing and shopping for reborn baby dolls. I put this list together to help newbies like myself ease into the reborn world. It's helpful if you can see a lot of reborn artists and browse to get to know what you like.
When I first started looking into reborns it was very overwhelming. The best advice I had gotten was to just browse everyone and everything to see what I liked the best. It helped bring me up to speed on everything! That's how I found out that I really like alternative reborn dolls as well as regular reborn dolls. This list does have some non-reborn artists but they are alternative friendly so I made notes of them and left them on here!

Why do I want a Reborn Baby Doll?

When you hear doll collector what do you think of? Do images of grandmother's with rooms full of porcelain dolls fill your head? I think it's easy to want to box up and define someone this way. Most people see dolls as creepy and many people dismiss how much a simple doll could help heal a soul.
I've been a doll collector all my life and I have heard endless amounts of comments. Sometimes they are not directed at me but at the inanimate objects, I collect. Occasionally, the disgust is actually directed at me.
Once I commented on a Shane Dawson video expressing my want for a reborn baby like his. A few people chimed in to remind me how pathetic I am. A few people suggested that I go to counseling.
As an infertile woman who desperately wants a child, these comments were hurtful. I'm well aware that a doll cannot replace a child but just the idea of having a small object to hold and love floods my heart with joy.

I don't have a reborn yet as they are very expensive. I have shopped and contacting different nurseries to build my "designer baby" as it were. Along the way, I have met some wonderful women. Each one of us has different reasons for this hobby but all of us seem to speak some sort of unspoken language and we vibrate with understanding.
These dolls are our common ground and we comfort each other for whatever the reason. We share each other's joys as well and we bond with our dolls and others. We have all found an island of peace in a world of storms.
I don't think wanting to collect reborns makes me 'broken' actually I think it's the opposite. It makes me feel whole. If a simple doll can do that... then why should I worry about the people who seek to tear away my happiness?
I think it goes without saying that my reasons for wanting a realistic baby doll are obvious. I have a whole in my heart where I am missing a living child. I'm not ashamed of this feeling and I think it's totally normal. It's other people who try to make me and my feelings into something that I am not.
Everyone wants to explain away things in a perfect little package. So, while this is MY reason for collecting these dolls please keep in mind this is not everyone's reason for collecting. Please keep that in mind if you ever encounter a person who collects these types of babies.

It has been a while since I have made a good soundscape video. Soundscapes are stories that I tell using sounds. I like to make it so you can imagine yourself at the place and be hearing all the noise. It's perfect for sleep and study! I really love these things and I used to make them just for me but occasionally people seem to like the ones I make so I try and share. This one is based on The Flash CW tv show's S.T.A.R.
